Adding an e-mail account to Microsoft Outlook 2003
To add an email address to Microsoft Outlook 2003 follow these instructions:
Open up Microsoft Outlook 2003
- On the Tools menu, click E-mail Accounts.
- Select Add a new e-mail account, and then click Next.
- Select the e-mail server POP 3 for your account, and then click Next.
- In the User Information type the name you want displayed when people receive emails from you
- In the E-Mail address type your e-mail address
- In the Server Information
Incoming mail server mail.optraweb.net.au
Outgoing mail server mail.optraweb.net.au
- Logon Information is your full email address
- Enter your Password
- In the Remember Password Checkbox, place a tick in this
- In the Log on Using secure Password leave this empty
- Click on Test Account Settings to verify that your account is working. (If there is missing or incorrect information, such as your password, you will be prompted to supply or correct it. Be sure your computer is connected to the Internet.)
- Click Finish
